Today, I am talking with Author Jenny Plumb! I’m so excited for her to tell you about her new series.
Anna: Hello Jenny. Tell the readers a little about yourself. Where you are from, hobbies etc.
Jenny: I was born and raised in Oregon and haven’t done much traveling outside of the United States. I’m married and have two mostly grown children. Writing has been my hobby for most of my adult life, because I also have a regular Monday through Friday job, which doesn’t leave a lot of time for other hobbies. Although my friends would probably say my other ‘hobby’ is watching / obsessing over certain television shows. Since my books are grounded in reality, it might surprise my readers to know that almost everything I watch has some kind of supernatural element to it. If it’s got a vampire, a werewolf, a ghost, a witch, a zombie, or some other creature in it, I’ve most likely watched it.
Anna: What genre do you write?
Jenny: Everything I write has spanking in it. A story without spanking is as dull to me as eating cake without frosting. Everything I write is also ‘sweet’. There will never be a dark romance from me – I can’t even read them. I need my heroes to have a measure of kindness, even when they’re teaching the heroine a lesson. So far I’ve written in the following sub-genres for Erotic Romances: mystery, suspense, ménage, age play, BDSM, and domestic discipline. At some point in the future I’m sure I’ll write something that has supernatural elements in it.
Anna: Tell us about your latest release.
Jenny: My newest release is titled, May Flowers Campus Life book 5. It’s about a woman named Mia who has escaped an abusive dominant and is afraid to start another BDSM relationship with anyone. But when her friend Aaron rescues her from a robbery in progress and starts showing signs of dominant behavior, she can’t help but wonder if she’d be able to trust again. When Mia’s ex starts harassing her, Aaron’s protective nature goes into overdrive, and Mia finds it harder and harder to keep her submissive side hidden from him.
Anna: What can we look for in the future from you?
Jenny: This year is all about my Campus Life series. A new book will be coming out for each of the twelve months. After that, I’m not sure which of my budding ideas will take the spotlight, but I’m certain that I’ll be writing something, because I can’t seem to stop.
Anna: Is there anything else you’d like to tell us? Contact info? Social media links?
Well, readers, there you have it. Let me add that I’ve read all of the Campus Life series so far, and they are great!Join me again soon for another exciting post.
Isabella has a new release! Desire for Discipline Collection contains her first three books ever written, from 2013 and 2014. They’ve been unavailable for a while, but now you can buy the whole series of three in one collection.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a submissive?
Accepting His Terms

She wins her man, but when Jill suffers a heartbreaking miscarriage and Jarrod is not by her side, she retreats into a deep, dark depression, turning away from the one man who could save her. Will their bond be severed forever?
Submitting to Bryan
Janis Lincoln found the man of her dreams in handsome co-worker, Bryan Walsh, until he tells her exactly the type of marriage he expects. She is shocked. Can she submit completely to him? A free spirit, she balks at his first attempt to discipline her. This isn’t the only obstacle standing in the way of their love. Will Bryan be able to convince Janis she is the only one for him? Can Janis submit completely to Bryan?
The Longing Within

But when she suddenly loses her job, her life spins out of control. Will John’s love be enough to keep her on track and bring the balance back to her life?
Publisher’s Note: These three steamy, contemporary romances contain themes of power exchange.
Today, I’m talking to Bethany Bliss. She’s going to tell us a little about herself and her newest book.
Anna: Welcome, Bethany. I’m so glad to have you here today. Tell the readers a little about yourself, where you are from, hobbies, etcetera.
Bethany: I struggle during interviews and can’t tell you how long I sat staring at this question before I could formulate an answer.
I’m quite a boring person who has done some interesting things. Flew to Reno and Utila Honduras to visit friends and learn to scuba dive. Traveled from east coast to west in a car, just me and the dog hiking through grand canyons and driving up pikes peak. I have a kink for learning and love immersing myself in diverse cultures.
I was born and bred in Maryland, but I migrated down to Virginia after our home burned down. In the mountains of Shenandoah Valley, I discovered a passion for natural healing and, of course, writing.
My first attempts at fifteen were pathetic, fifty or so pages of nonsense, completely illegible, though after eight attempts, I managed a draft a publisher wanted. Blushing Books gave me the chance I needed and published two of my manuscripts right off, and I’ve finished two more with a goal of eight submissions to them this year. I’m still surprised when people like them. Last I checked, I hadn’t gotten a review below four stars, yet I’ll always think of my books as I had those first drafts: plenty of improvement to be made.
Anna: What genre do you write?
Bethany: I favor romance. Fantasy or contemporary are my favorite sub-genres to write. I just never tire of constructing stories with danger, suspense, sexy heroes and kick-ass heroines, all submerged in their own little world of my imagining.
Anna: Tell us about your latest release.
Bethany: The Bladed Tiger’s Empress was released April 15th and is the start of a Fantasy romance series called “Claiming Her Empire”. Book one follows Princess Marilla as she is exiled from her castle, becomes a fugitive in her empire, learns to defend and protect herself, then reclaims her crown as Empress all with her most loyal general by her side. The fiercest, strongest, and sexiest warrior, who earned the warrior name Bladed Tiger for his formidable duel blade fighting style.
Anna: What can we look for in the future from you?
Bethany: Another release is anticipated the last week of May as a start of another trilogy. I hope to complete the eight books I have been working on for Blushing Books within the year, releasing two trilogies and two standalone romance novels. That is my ambition. I have already completed four!
Anna: That’s great! Is there anything else you’d like to tell us? Contact info? Social media links?
Bethany: Stalk me for fun times, book reviews, and chances to win giveaways of author swag and free books!
Thank you so much for joining me today, Bethany, and good luck with your writing.
Readers, join us again soon, for another author interview.
Welcome back! Today, I’m going to tell you all about Karia and the Prince, book two of Isabella Kole’s Avalon Adventures series. Soon, some other very talented authors will be adding a story of their own to the series, but right now, let’s talk about book two.
Blurb:
She’s dating the most eligible bachelor in the country, the heir to the throne, yet she craves the discipline of another man.
Follow Karia’s journey as she begins another year at the Academy of the Arts in the secluded Avalon Mountains. This year, she is deepening her relationship with the prince and finding out what dating a royal is really like. The paparazzi continues to stalk her whenever she is in the city.
Her assignment for this year is to write an article about the fashion industry. Designer Melinda Matthews has been a good contact and has helped her tremendously. Fashion Week is an experience she will never forget.
Still torn by her feelings for both the prince and the master, Karia continues to be confused as she excels in her work and studies. Should she just give up on men completely? Prince Henry is too busy for her at times, and even though the master still seeks to demand her submission, Karia feels that maybe she should forget them both and concentrate solely on her work.
Publisher’s Note: This is a story about power exchange.
And here is an excerpt from this story about a college girl and the love triangle she has found herself in:
Bloody hell, I thought I was going to get out of this. What does he want now? I hope it’s only discuss my week in the city, she thought as she waited for the other students to file out of the room.
Oliver wasted no time in getting to the reason for his request that she stay behind.
“Ms. Daly, I understand your visit to Fashion Week was a smashing success,” he began.
“I’m not sure what you mean, sir. I was able to get a lot of inside information for my article, which Professor Evelyn says is nearly ready to turn in.”
The man smiled, and his dark eyes seemed to twinkle. “That’s good to hear. And only one incident with the tabloids, which turned out not to be bad.”
“Yes, sir,” she replied as she looked down at her hands in her lap.
“Now, Ms. Daly, I doubt that you are going to agree with my rationale on this matter, but I believe you need a subtle reminder that you are no longer in the city with glamourous designers and high society people, attending one of the largest events of the year. You are back at the academy, a student, and you are not staying with the royal family, being given a driver and a royal guard for your use. You are living in a dorm room, attending classes, and your job right now is to study.”
“I’m not sure I understand, sir.”
He smiled at her again, and a shiver ran up and down her spine.
“My reason for saying you would most likely not agree with me. Now, I want you to stand and come forward.”
Karia got up, wiping her sweaty palms on her skirt, and walked to his desk where he now stood.
“Bend over my desk,” he commanded in a low tone.
“Yes, sir,” she answered as every nerve ending in her body stood at attention. He was going to punish her! She hadn’t done anything wrong. What was it he had said? This was a subtle reminder. He was putting her in her place, so that she wouldn’t forget where she belonged. It wasn’t in the city, attending fancy events, wearing designer clothes, or staying in the palace as a guest of the royal family. She was Karia Daly, student, commoner.
Why was she feeling excited? Was she one of those people who enjoyed the pain, the kinky side of life. Did she really like being spanked by the master? Was it just Oliver, or would she take it from any man? Henry certainly wasn’t willing to dish it out. Was she just a slut who wanted to have her cake and eat it too? She was using Henry for sex and Oliver for punishment? No, that wasn’t it at all. It couldn’t be. She was so confused.
She didn’t have time to dwell on it, though, because she felt the cold air hitting her bare behind when Oliver lifted her skirt and pulled down her serviceable white cotton panties required by the school. She missed her sexy lacy ones she had worn last week, the ones Henry liked.
As he rubbed the creamy white globes, Oliver said, “I will give you twenty with my hand and twenty with the paddle today, Karia.” He had used her given name! Not Ms. Daly!
She braced herself for the onslaught, and a second later, the first smack hit. She jumped, having not had a punishment in several days. The sensations began immediately, causing her juices to begin flowing. She only hoped she was spared the embarrassment of having him know.
Oliver rubbed her cheek before administering a second blow, this time, to the other one. His touch ignited something in her that she couldn’t explain. Eight more slaps rang out before he took a break and walked over to his cabinet to retrieve the wooden paddle she hated so much.
Karia was more confused than ever by this point. Her ass was on fire from only ten smacks of his hand, but there was a more intense fire burning within her. What did it mean? Was she attracted to her professor? He was young and handsome, in his dark and brooding way, but really? He was as different from Henry as the dark night was to the bright day. What did it all mean? She would not be able to deny him if he were to throw her over his desk and make love to her right this minute. And that thought, more so than any of the others running through her mind at that moment, greatly disturbed her. She was with Henry. They had never discussed being with others, but she assumed that he thought they were exclusive. Even with his reputation as a playboy and womanizer, she had no reason to believe he was seeing anyone else.
And then, Oliver returned. He had the paddle in his hand, and he commanded in a low tone, “I want you to count each swat of the wood. There will be ten in all, as I said before.”
“Y-yes, s-sir,” she managed to get out.
She heard the whooshas the implement swung through the air before making contact with her already red bottom. “One,” she said, wishing with all her heart that she could reach back and rub out the sting. Oliver prevented that by holding her hands with his free one.
“T-two,” she said, fighting hard to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall.
Another whoosh, and the wood smacked again, causing her to cry out, “Ow!”
“Count,” was all he said before she did.
“Four,” she said, tears now making their way down her cheeks.
The fifth swat hurt like hell, and then he started on her sit spots.
“Halfway there,” Oliver said as he placed a sixth on the top of one of her thighs.
“Seven,” she said as he placed a hard swat to her sit spot.
“Eight,” she groaned between sobs as the top of her thigh took another hit.
“Nine, ten,” she managed before she heard him lay the paddle on the desk. He pulled her up and she was in his arms before she really knew what had happened. What was this? He was holding her and whispering in her ear as she sobbed against his chest.
“There, there, it’s all over now, Karia. That’s a good girl, let it all out,” he was saying.
And she did. She cried and sobbed and held on to his shirt. When she had finally calmed and the sobs became occasional hiccups, he reached down and pulled her panties up gently. Her skirt fell back into place and he positioned her at arm’s length. Then, he handed her a tissue.
“How do you feel?” he asked.
How did she feel? Really, he was asking that after he’d just blistered the hell out of her ass? She couldn’t be honest with him. That was for sure. She couldn’t tell him that she wanted him to kiss her at this very moment, to tell her that he wanted her. What in the bloody hell was wrong with her? So, instead, she simply said, “May I go now, sir?”
Hi, again! This week, I’m going to talk about my latest release, Her Second Chance Dom. What would it be like to find the love of your life after twenty years? The one you let get away? Well, you’ll find out in this second chance romance as Camille gets her second chance with the guy she walked away from all those years ago. But a lot has changed since then, and some things have stayed the same, so will they be able to put the past behind them and make it work this time? Maybe.
Here’s the blurb for Her Second Chance Dom:
Camille Robertson, savvy professional woman, has found herself alone again. She and her husband have just divorced. However, an old lover reappears in her life at about the same time, so maybe she won’t be alone for long. Twenty years ago, Camille had ended things with this man, the one true love of her life, because he wanted to marry, and raise a large family. He also wanted her to be his submissive. But Camille was on the fast track, climbing the ladder to success, and no one was going to tell her what to do.
Cody Larkin is recently widowed, raising his four children alone. Amazingly, the one who got away has recently come back into his life. They both made mistakes twenty years ago. Can they make it work this time around?
Surprisingly, Camille is ready to compromise with Cody to make a go of it, but his oldest daughter continues to be a stumbling block for the couple. Will Camille ever win her over so she and her second chance Dom can be together?
Hi, everyone, and happy Friday! What’s going on in my world this week? Well, today, book three in Isabella Kole’s Dominant Men series released! The title is Her Promised Dom and I’m going to tell you a little about it. I hope you’ve read the first two, Her Blue Collar Dom and Her Convenient Dom already. In this series, the books can be read as standalones. Some of the same characters pop up from time to time, but each story is a separate one.
How about the blurb, for starters?
Can they possibly find their way back to each other, after all this time? Is there any amount of compromising that could make him keep that long-ago promise? And will Cora be able to accept life as a submissive if he does?
Cora Watson is headed back to her hometown in Texas for her grandmother’s funeral. Now a successful New York editor, she rarely makes it back to the small town she grew up in. She’s in for a big surprise, however, when she goes out for a night out with an old friend and discovers that her high school sweetheart happens to be in town at the same time.
Dale Barton broke her heart. Now, here he is, looking better than ever and wanting to spend time with her. So much has changed, though. She’s moved on, never looking back, and he is now a club Dom, a self-proclaimed confirmed bachelor. He lives in Texas, and she in the Big Apple. And then there’s that promise he made to her, all those years ago – one she has tried to put out of her mind.
Publisher’s Note: This steamy contemporary romance blends spicy with sweet as these two lovers are reunited. While it is part of the Dominant Men series, it can be enjoyed as a standalone.
Excited yet?
How about an excerpt?
“I know you said you like being a swinging bachelor, but haven’t you ever found someone whom you really cared for?” she asked as she took a sip.
Looking at her for a long moment before answering, he finally answered, “I wasin love, once. But it didn’t work out, and I’ve just never seen any reason to get tied up with anyone since then.”
“Oh, I see. Did she break your heart? Is that why you’re so against settling down?”
“No, she didn’t break my heart. It broke my heart that we didn’t work out, but she didn’t do it. How about you, Cora Beth, is there a guy waiting for you back in the Big Apple?”
She shook her head. “No, there’s no one special. I date, but there’s never really been any one person in particular who has kept my attention past a few casual dates. I’m pretty busy with work, anyway, so a serious affair probably wouldn’t work out.”
They lingered for hours, talking and laughing. They found that even after all this time, they still shared a good many common interests. When they finally left the restaurant, he asked if she’d like to go dancing with him.
She readily agreed, and he drove to a club he’d heard about from Bruce. As they walked into the dimly lit room, they saw several couples on the dance floor. A slow song was playing, and he led her onto the floor. Taking her into his strong embrace, he slowly moved with her around the floor with ease, pulling her closer as he kissed the top of her blonde head. He leaned down and whispered, “I’d love to get you alone, baby, but I’m at my folk’s place and you’re at yours, so I guess it’s off-limits for us.”
“Damn the luck, Barton. There’s always your car, like the old days,” she teased as she looked up at him.
“Don’t tempt me, or I might just take you up on that, Cora Beth.” He grinned and winked, remembering the times that long-ago summer when they had parked in his car and made sweet love. “Or I could take you to my place in Austin one day this week. We could be alone there and rekindle the old flame for a while,” he whispered.
“Dale, I really don’t think that’s a very good idea. I’m not one of your one-night stands, and I’ll be going back to New York soon.”
“I never imagined for a moment that you were one of my one-night stands, Cora. I certainly didn’t mean to imply that.”
“We may never be together again, Dale, so why open all that back up?”
“Why indeed, Miss Watson?” he replied as he led her off the floor and to a table.
He ordered drinks for the two of them. When the server had gone, he said, “The offer still stands. If you’d like to spend a day with me in Austin before you go home, say the word. We don’t have to jump in the sack. I would just like the chance to spend some more time with a very dear old friend.”
“Let me see how things are going with Gram’s house, and I’ll get back to you,” she said as she fought the desire to throw caution to the wind and readily agree.
“Fair enough, Cora Beth,” he replied as their drinks arrived.
They talked for a while longer, finished their drinks, and then he announced that he was going to take her home.
She allowed him to take her hand again as they strolled slowly to his car. Once inside, he leaned across the seat and kissed her, gently, at first. When she responded willingly, he deepened the kiss, probing the softness of her mouth with his tongue. As he released her, he looked into the familiar amethyst gray eyes he’d once loved and smiled.
She shyly returned the smile, hoping that he couldn’t hear the pounding of her heart or notice that her limbs had turned to mush. The heat from his kiss spread through her body like wildfire. If he’d tried, he probably could have had her right there in the car in the parking lot of the club. But, instead of taking it further, he started the car and silently drove her home. When they arrived, he walked her to the door and once again kissed her passionately.
As he started to walk away, he reminded her, “Call me, Cora Beth, and let me know you’ll spend another day with me before you go back to the Big Apple.”
Knowing that after tasting his sweet lips again, she could never refuse him, she replied, “I will.”
She walked into the house and up the stairs. As she undressed for bed, her mind was already made up. She would go to Austin with him, and whatever happened would happen. After all, it was the year of their thirtieth birthdays.
Now, here are the buy links so you can find out what happens to Cora and Dale.

I’m back after a fun weekend at Book Obsessed Babes Author Signing Event in historical St. Augustine. The Mardi Gras themed event was coordinated by Taira Wilds and her fantastic group of volunteers. This was my first time to attend this signing, and it certainly won’t be my last. The fun started on Friday night with a meet and greet party for the authors in the Colonial Quarter area in the historical district. We enjoyed a Cajun buffet, a DJ, and lots of mingling and picture taking.
On Saturday, we gathered in the morning to set up, take group and individual photos, and then we had lunch. After that, the VIP ticket holders came in and the general public joined us a little later. Until 4:30, we laughed, talked books with readers and had all kinds of fun. There were also interviews with the Hangin With Web Show. And even though I’m suffering with knee issues and had to wear a brace, which, unfortunately, you’ll see in the photo, I enjoyed the entire event!
Some friends of ours even stopped by to see me and to have a book signed!
***But that’s not all that happened over the weekend. On Friday, March 8, Book Two in my Dominant Men series, Her Convenient Dom by USA Today Bestselling Author, Isabella Kole, was released by Blushing Books! It’s done very well so far and I’d like to share some comments from reviewers with you and tell you a little about the book. And even though it’s book two, it can be read as a standalone!
“This is a wonderful story about two people, Harper – a young nurse’s assistant, and Parker, a well-to-do older widower with two young children.” 5 stars*****
“The side plot of the unwanted hostile takeover attempts present a few problems for them, and that plot has a couple of unforeseen twists including some violence, but there is a very HEA ending that will warm your heart. The spankings are more sensual than harsh, and the sex is very vanilla. How vanilla you ask, well there is even a vanilla-scented bubble bath scene. If you are looking for a feel good story with a little kink and sensual sex without graphic excess, this one is for you.” 4 Stars****
“I really enjoyed this book by Isabella Kole. I give it an enthusiastic 5 stars!”*****
“This is a nice long read.” 5 stars*****
“From the beginning to the end, Ms. Isabella Kole knocked this one out of the park. OMG, between the amazing characters, their interaction, the people around them, to the mystery suspense, this was a page-turning tale. 5 stars*****
“A good old fashioned romance. Evans meets Harper after his son had an accident at the Dr. She instantly likes him and before you know things turns interesting. A lovely read.” 5 stars*****
Now, here’s the blurb for Her Convenient Dom:
Parker Bentley, widower and owner of a popular restaurant chain, has just asked his nanny to marry him. And he’s made it very clear that even though it is a marriage of convenience to save his company from a takeover, it will be a real marriage. There will be no divorce, ever. He will be the head of the household, and she will have rules to follow. She will want for nothing, with a beautiful home in Chicago, a beach house in South Carolina, and money to buy whatever she wants. In return, she will help him run his business and his household, and raise his two small children. She will be his wife, in every sense of the word. His convenient wife.
Harper Easton can’t believe her luck. The handsome, sweet man she works for has just asked her to marry him. However, there are strings attached. He expects her loyalty, her obedience, and her trust. Someone is trying to steal his affections and his company, and he is not having any of it. Harper is the key to preventing that from happening. She knows he doesn’t love her, even though she is beginning to have feelings for him. Can she go through with it? How hard can it be? After all, he is a wonderful father, a fair employer, and fun to be around. Surely, she could be his wife, his lover, his partner and mother to his children without love getting in the way. And as far as his domineering ways are concerned, she finds those very sexy indeed…
